Tuesday’s Torch 548
August 6, 2019
I wrote a Torch with some warnings and other things in it but I’ve changed my mind on what to share. This will probably be the shortest message ever. I’ve been on vacation with my wonderful children and my parents the past few days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Tonight I would simply like to express that God loves us, and He is so great to us. He sent his Son for us!
God wants to bless us, and all he asks in return is that we strive to live righteously! Even in the midst of trials and hardships he stands ready to help us and make sure that we have blessings along the way to keep us going.
As we turn to him, all of our righteous desires enter the realm of possibility. Will they all come true? Probably not. But as we do what is right, they are possible. And we will have enough. So count your blessings, strive to do what is right, seek after righteousness and God will provide for you.
My family is a tremendous blessing to me. My children prove to me that God is there and He loves me and that the decisions I made that helped lead me down the path to be their father were the right ones. I thank God every day for them and for all the wonderful memories I’ve made with my family and friends and pray for each of us to have more experiences that teach us that all things are possible and help us more completely feel the love of God and our Savior more abundantly. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Tuesdays Torch has been viewed in countries all across the globe through our website and social media. We pray the words of every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please share Tuesdays Torch and encourage others with it. To partner with Tuesdays Torch and help expand our reach please contact us. We pray the Lord will touch our readers. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk about what He did and is still doing. The best thing God’s done is send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will invite the Lord into their lives by asking Him to forgive their sins and believing that He is the Son of God. No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
