Tuesday’s Torch 522

Tuesday’s Torch 522

February 5, 2019

Last week I spoke about victory and I felt really good about the message and I got a lot of really positive feedback.  It has been a good week in a lot of ways, in other ways it has been a challenging week.  Every week I have typically written the torch in a specific manner:  I’ll wake up in the morning of the torch after having pondered during the week what i would like to discuss.  And then on Tuesday morning to midday I usually spend a little time searching the scriptures sometimes for just a key word or a phrase or I’ll think of a specific verse that i want to base it off of.  And then later in the night usually I get the chance to write down the thoughts.  And I’ll write it and practice reading through it a couple times and then record it for youtube to share with you guys.  After I record it I usually send the transcript to Sammy and she shares it and I post it to youtube and then share it on facebook. Well this week I’m having to do it different because I don’t feel like I can write it first this week. I’ve been trying to figure out how to share a message this week and what to share it on and I’ve come to the realization that I need to just share my testimony with you guys.

I know that God lives. I know that He loves us.  I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is my Savior and He is your Savior.  As we strive to live a life that emulates him, as we try to live like the Savior lived, we will be blessed beyond our wildest imagination.

I have made so many mistakes in my life. I do my best to make up for them.  Each of us, we’ve all made mistakes in our life that’s sometimes hard to get past.  And I was having a really rough time yesterday and I had to come to a realization that there was something that I can’t do.  However, my God can!  There are times where I am not enough, that I can’t do things on my own, that I cannot accomplish a righteous thing or a good thing;  Not by myself.  But with Christ all things are possible and I know that to be true.

The mistakes we make, the sins we commit, the things we do wrong, the price for those was paid long ago, the Savior already paid the price for those.  So as we apply the Atonement in our lives, we are forgiven.  We don’t have to suffer for those things any longer.  We are forgiven, we can be healed and we can be saved.  Last week I spoke about Victory, and the Victory is faith, and I testify to you that I have faith: In my God. In my Savior.

If you are in need, if you are struggling, I promise you that if you will turn to your Heavenly Father, if you will turn to the Savior Jesus Christ, you will receive the help that you need, the hope that you need, and your faith will not be in vain.  I know this.  And I pray that each of us, that each of you will know it as well.  I share this testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

-Bobby Stewart  Tuesdays Torch has been viewed in countries all across the globe through our website and social media. We pray the words of every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please share Tuesdays Torch and encourage others with it. To partner with Tuesdays Torch and help expand our reach please contact us. We pray the Lord will touch our readers. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk about what He did and is still doing. The best thing God’s done is send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will invite the Lord into their lives by asking Him to forgive their sins and believing that He is the Son of God. Please share testimonies, feedback or encouraging words by email at: tuesdaystorch@gmail.comwe enjoy hearing from you. No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
