When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Mark 10:14)
After we learned my brother and I have Muscular Dystrophy I had a better supernatural encounter than the previous one. One day mom was feeding breakfast to me and my brother who was about six months old. I was on the floor by my chair at the table. I think I was mad because I wanted juice instead of milk to drink. When I turned to the right and looked up I saw Jesus! He looked like a spirit in a way but He shined and shimmered like a bright light. Mostly I was on my knees and remember seeing His feet and the bottom of His robe but I saw His face also and could describe it in detail. During this heavenly encounter Jesus touched me on the head, greeted, comforted me and said be healed in my name. That is when I looked up at Him to see His eyes and face. He told me also that He had a secret for me and would tell it to me when I got older. His words gently flow from His lips. My mom said she felt a presence in the room and was afraid to turn around. When she finally did she said I was staring at something she couldn’t see. Finally she asked what I was looking at and He basically disappeared. I was caught up in my visitation so I couldn’t answer her right away. After seeing my Lord I climbed back into my chair momentarily stunned and told her I seen Jesus. She asked me what He looked like but didn’t understand the description I gave. While we ate breakfast she called her friend Rose and told her about it. Rose understood my description because I explained Him in the exact details from Revelation. After that I knew He was real and I told my mom I wanted Him in my heart and said the prayer of salvation with her.
This visitation is by far the greatest spiritual experience of my life and it is appropriate that it would happen after receiving some bad news in my life. Not only my own but the faith of my family was at a crossroads at that time and we needed to remember who is in control. The lame, blind, crippled, deaf and mute were brought to Jesus and laid at His feet; and He healed them (Mt. 15:30). Already on the floor He came to me and reminded me to see Him as the source for healing and good health. I may not be running marathons yet but I have far exceeded most of the statistical data provided to us at my diagnosis. Had it not been for Jesus I am uncertain of how I could have faced the obstacles in my life because much of my strength was gained through Him. Upon raising from the dead Christ first appeared to His women followers; they fell down at His feet and worshipped Him. He greeted them, eased their fears and gave them a message to pass on to His disciples. The messages maybe different but whenever Christ appears the series of events is similar. When the Lord speaks to us it maybe for us but it is also meant to be shared with others (Mt. 28:9-10). Jesus said let the children come because the kingdom of God belongs to them. Those who cannot accept His kingdom like a child will not enter it. Than He laid His hands on the children and blessed them (Mk. 10:14-16). The pure in heart will see God and only when we come to Jesus and follow Him can our hearts be made flawless. The power used to raise Christ from the dead was given to Him by God so that all things would be put under His feet (Eph. 1:20-22). This is the Jesus I saw; dressed in a robe reaching to his feet with a golden sash. His hair was white like wool or snow and His eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like burnished bronze and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters. His face was like the sun shining (Rev. 1:12-17). At four I knew to say white like wool, burnished bronze feet and voice like waves. Jesus is for real and I am a witness that this is one hundred percent the truth.
Stories like these sometimes make people feel that their faith is small but like in a courtroom only a few witnesses prove something to be true. God’s court is the highest court there is so how true are those who are telling stories of Him visiting them. Doubting Thomas after missing seeing Jesus saw Him later and was told more blessed are those who believe and never see. Seeing or not doesn’t make Jesus any more real because He is the same one who saved us all.
Lord we ask to experience Jesus in our lives so that His reality will be our reality. As we grow to know You better help others to see You in us so that they will know they have experienced You. Help us to seek after Your face with all our hearts so that Your truth may increase making a pure heart in us so that we are worthy to enter into heavenly places with You. In Jesus name, Amen

No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
