Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy. (Psalm 99:9)
Last week we learned that God is the King over all kings and His son will be enthroned over all things. We praised to the song Only King Forever by Elevation Worship. We will exalt our God and King, worshipping at His holy mountain because He only He is holy. Today we will praise to The Lord Our God by Kristian Stanfill. The link to the song is https://youtu.be/NTbY24n-8Ik or search for the song and artist on YouTube. God not only is the promise maker, He keeps His promises because He finishes what He begins. He is our provision, even in the dessert He sees it through till the end. Our God will be there until the end. The Lord is ever faithful, never changing through the ages. Out of darkness He will lead us and forever we will say He’s The Lord Our God. Yesterday America celebrated Independence Day; the day when thirteen colonies claimed our independence from one of the strongest nations in the late 1700’s. It seemed impossible that pioneers, hunters and farmers could defeat an unstoppable force as large as the British Empire. The colonists believed that the creator endowed all men with certain right including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The king was unsuccessful in seeing to those rights so he imposed impossible laws and trading restrictions on the people. These laws were a violation to human rights and there was no longer any system of justice so we took a stand. Actually if we do a little research we can find that they believed that God had their back and would fight for their rights. After a long bloody war the miraculous happened and America was born. Our freedoms today are being attacked on many levels by godless nations but if we turn to Him we will walk in the name of The Lord Our God for ever and ever (Micah 4:5).
King Hezekiah in Israel took the stand of the early Americans; he told the people to have courage and not to fear the vast sea Assyrian troops. He knew God is more powerful than any army on earth and with Him to help their battles were already won. This gave them confidence to face whatever the enemy had instore them (2 Chronicles 32:7-8). The Lord Our God will be with us just like He was with our ancestors; He will never leave us or forsake us (1 Kings 8:57). When we know God is using us to do something we need to have courage without fear because He will help us. Some men trust in modern war machines for security but we trust God to keep us secure at all times (Psalm 20:7). When we esteem God and worship His holiness we lift Him to His rightful place in our lives. Often we are busy with all the commotion in the mountains that influence culture but unless God is on the mountain we are being deceived. We cannot rely on governments, education or careers; only God can be our salvation (Jeremiah 3:23). He is the one and only Lord over all things in heaven and on earth. If He is our Lord we will love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Also we will love others like we love ourselves; these are the greatest commands in them the entire law of God is fulfilled (Mark 12:29). We know that God loves us because He made a way to save us when we didn’t deserve it so how can we not love Him back? We must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins and we will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to us all even those who are far from the Lord if we call onto Him in this way (Acts 2:38-39). The Lord Our God deserves our highest honor and praise because He is always there and with Him our battles are already won.

The best thing God’s done is send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
