Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. (Revelation 15:4)
Last week we started something new and different for 2016. We are going to praise and worship Jesus together giving Him our most sincere Heart of Worship. It is all about showing Him our deepest love and devotion because He is good to us and we should honor His possession as creator of the universe. The song we will use as praise and worship today is the Song of Moses by Petra. We will be looking into the lyrics of this song that say, You Alone. The link to this song is https://youtu.be/iVszDvW7688 or search for the song title and artist on Youtube. God alone is the one that everyone will have fear and awe for in the end. All nations will come and worship the Lord when His righteous deeds are fully revealed to us. We will sing with all the saints, “You God, You Alone are holy. Him being holy means that He is sacred, blessed, hallowed, sanctified and righteous. Only God is fully these spiritual traits; sometimes He will make things we consider to be holy but only He can make anything or anybody that way. Nothing or no one compares to our God because none are holy as he is Holy. When I think of the holiness of God I am often lost in a sense of wonder. I try to think; what if God did nothing to create life as we know it? Where are we in His larger plan that we know nothing about? I get swept away in awesome spender sometimes pondering the infinite influence of God in everything. We are no more than the tiniest molecule in an atom on the smallest cell of a speck of dust in comparison to God. He alone is why everything is; for this reason we will sing, You Alone are holy.
King Hezekiah prayed, “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth (2 Kings 19:15).” Hezekiah knew the possession of God in relationship to him; he knew God was over all kingdoms of the earth and that He was the creator. He made the sky, outer space and all the stars in the universe, the whole world, everything on it and in the sea. He gave life to every living thing and all of heaven worships Him (Nehemiah 9:6). Trusting in God alone will make us lie down in peace when we sleep; He makes us dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). In God alone can we find true peace and safety, no matter what circumstance we find ourselves in. He is both our portion and our cup so our lot will be secure (Psalm 16:5). God will not only supply our every need He will provide us with a secure place so we can dwell in safety. Like David, we always have hope and a reason to always praise the Lord. Our mouth will tell of His wonderful deeds and saving acts though we cannot find a way to relate them all. We will proclaim the mighty acts of our Sovereign Lord and declare You Alone do righteous deeds (Psalm 71:14-16). God is great, He does marvelous deeds for all of us (Psalm 86:10). Lord our God, other lords have ruled over us but in His name alone do we honor (Isaiah 26:13). The saints in heaven will sing the Song of Moses and the Lamb, “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed (Revelation 15:3-4).” Today we can learn a song that together we will sing in the presence of the Lord. Sovereign Lord; You Alone are holy, worthy of our highest praise and we choose to honor You.

No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
