Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. (John 4:23)
Last week we learned about what is on our tablet of heart; just like a computer tablet we make good or bad apps that come from life experience and the Lord. This year Tuesdays Torch will be doing a new thing so we can give back to the Lord because of what He’s done for us. Every Torch this year will include the title and/or song lyrics from worship songs. Also I will post the youtube.com link to every song so we can worship together all year. I encourage readers to really worship the Lord all week long with these songs to make in us a Heart of Worship because it is one of the few ways we can give back to the Lord. The time has come for to be true worshipers. To do this we must have a Heart of Worship that will truly worship God from deep within our Spirit. The Father does not need nor does He deserve halfhearted worship from His people. He has done everything for mankind to enjoy this life so we need to give Him the kind of praise and worship that He seeks. We need to be true worshipers; we need to have a Heart of Worship and the time has come for us to do that. The song this week if it hasn’t been realized yet is The Heart of Worship sung by Matt Redman. The link to this song is https://youtu.be/Y0a9T0UtJBQ or search for the song title and artist on Youtube. Most reasons to worship are pretty obvious but today we will look into why it is we need this Heart of Worship. We need to have a worship app in our tablet of the heart so we can show God our love and devotion to Him. The time of true worship is upon us: God is a spirit so let us do so in and through the Spirit of Truth (John 4:24).
We should give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness and sing praises to His name, He is the Most High (Psalm 7:17). God is infallible, all His ways are the right way, He is incapable of error and nothing He can do is wrong. We are to be glad and rejoice just because He is who He is. We will sing happy songs to Him because of His name (Psalm 9:2). It is good for us to praise the Lord and make music to Him (Psalm 92:1). It is good because He deserves honor, glory and respect for all the goodness He has shown to us. Creation and Jesus win all arguments that He is not a good God and if that was all He did we should praise Him. We must worship the Lord because of the magnificence of His holiness; all the earth should tremble before Him (Psalm 96:9). The power of God is no joke and we need to realize He could make everything nothing and nothing would even know what was before. He doesn’t do this because He is righteous, good and holy but we should respect Him for chosing to be that way. The whole earth should sing a new song to the Lord (Psalm 96:1). God is forever doing new good things in the earth if we choose to see them so there is continually reason to sing new songs to Him. If we chose to have a Heart of Worship we will see many reasons to praise and worship our God. As stated earlier we should praise God because of our Lord Jesus Christ; He has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Everything in the realm of Godly possibility we have access to because of Christ, as if salvation and eternal life wasn’t enough. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe (Hebrews 12:28). For the most part a Heart of Worship is about being thankful because God is powerful but not for evil and He loved us enough to sacrifice His Son to give us everything good.

We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is doing. The best thing God done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. Please share testimonies, feedback or encouraging words by email at: email@example.com we enjoy hearing from you.
