I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Whether we die in sin or accept Christ and die to live we must die because that’s sins payment. On a road sign last I seen it said Corinthian 416 so I wrote the Torch on it from 1 Corinthians. It was about imitating the example of Christ so people can imitate us being like Him. Christ saved us so like the apostles did before us we do by the example Christ lead them to follow. We are called to follow His example not to become better than Him but to become more Like Him. Christ left us examples on many things we should do like he did. He gave us examples on how to pray, serve and love by following His footsteps. The leaders who speak the word to us should imitate the faith of Christ. Jesus is always the same so we can also do what the leaders of the church have been doing when we follow their faith. When we’re not lazy and we imitate this faith and have patients we will receive our promise like them. If we this path we are dearly loved by God. We should be compassionate, kind, humble, gentle, patient and forgiving because God forgave us. By example, the one left us we are to live our lives according to. If we are in faith we should be living how he showed us to so others can follow Him when they follow our example. There is nothing we cannot do if we put our faith and trust in the Lord. He is the strength of those who go to Him for strengthening. Whatever situation we face that seems to hard for us or if we fell weak in any area we can do it if He is the one strengthening us.
Samson was probably the world’s strongest man in the time of the judges of Israel. His strength was in his hair but the only reason he was strong was because God gave him the strength. He became weak when he was deceived over and over to reveal his secret to his wife who 3 times handed him over to his enemy. They cut his hair and put his eyes out and enslaved him to be an arena fighter and work horse. One day though as His hair grew back they stood him between the two main pillars of the palace and Samson prayed for strength to avenge his adversaries (Judges 16:28). God gave him the strength to collapse the palace and killed them all with his last breath. God can do all things and His purposes will not fail Him (Job 42:2). So we can do all things if we trust Him to be our strength. Though we don’t know where the wind comes from or is going or we cant see how a baby is formed in the same way we cannot always understand what God is doing (Ecclesiastes 11:5). He made all things and gives strength where strength is needed. Everyday should be holy to us so we donn’t hhaveo grieve bcause Hiss joy iis ourr strength We can do nothing in our selves so we should seek not to do our will but His will who sent us (John 5:30). Like Samson, God can give us supernatural if we call on him. The hair was just a sign to him of his strength and to keep his strength he had to be obedient to god. His disobedience is what made him weak and same goes for us if we are disobedient and don’t trust God we grow weak in our faith and trusting in Him.. We should bee strong in God than we can do all things in Him (Ephesians 6:10). We can do all things if we know God is the one giving us thee strength to do those things.
Recently Tuesdays Torch has expanded its reach by building our official website www.tuesdaystorch.com . With the addition of the Daily Spark and Scripture Pictures we are further spreading the message of Christ. We have accepted the opportunity for Tuesday’s Torch to be in Redeemed the Magazine for prisoners. The founder and author of Tuesdays Torch Tim Sader, has spoken in church and has several other speaking engagements lined up for the near future. We pray the words of this Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward Tuesdays Torch to encourage others with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that would like to partner with Tuesdays Torch please let us know. We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: email@example.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch on our website, by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
