For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
After having a dream about the beginning of the Christian Healthcare Commission I dreamt about changes coming to those in the body of Christ. I had similar dreams on the same night about two friends in front of crowds sharing how God rebuilt their lives. In the first dream my friend was speaking to a crowd of misfits wearing nooses on short ropes around their necks. When he said things they would hold the rope up to symbolize being hanged. These people were trying to rise out of their ruins and were doing it by dying to self. God can turn our ruined life into paradise if we will live for Him and not for us. Friend two was at a rundown barn with rusty old cars and hay bales for sitting on. He was reunited with a friend who was like brother to share his musical talents with those who were like he once was. When my friend left them he was strung out on drugs. I knew God changed him far more than he’s done already. His restoration was an inspiration to the crowd at the old barn and this would ignite a change in them. God restored to him what he left behind and this time he was an inspiration instead of a follower. God rebuilt these friends when they died to self and put God first. The nations are being destroyed by sin and they forget that God can rebuild what is destroyed. By proclaiming how God changed us others will be rebuilt when they die to self and live for God. After this dream I had one other dream I felt was part of this then I did not dream for quite a while.
In this last dream I was in a parking ramp overlooking some sky scrapers and an industrial area. This place felt unstable, the sky was red and there was hazy smoke in the air. Around the towers a helicopter battle broke out with gun fire and missiles. When the winner flew away there was an eerie silence and then a distant rumble of a large aircraft. It flew over the industrial area and dropped a large atomic bomb. There was a moment of shock then people scattered like ants hoping to find safety. There was a flash and a cloud rising as the shock wave started to spread. There was major chaos and I moved back from the edge but I was strong in faith and unafraid. I prayed quickly that God would save me and those around me. When the destructive force reached the parking ramp it just stop like it hit a wall. The ramp shook but no harm was done to anyone I could see in that area. In the last days things like this will happen and it may not be the end yet so we must stand firm in our faith (Mark 13:7). God has given us authority over the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). If it kills, steals or destroys it cannot harm if we trust God. If we believe He is our refuge no disaster can come near our dwelling. His angels will guard us and lift us up so no harm will become us (Psalm 91:9-12). The plans God has for us are for our benefit. He wishes no harm on us; rather He wants us to hope in Him and have a future. In the last days we are told not to fear what we might suffer. Many will suffer prison, persecution and even death but if we stand firm none of these things will shake us. Those who are faithful have the assurance of receiving a crown of everlasting life (Revelation 2:10). In my dream by standing firm and not fearing sure death, no harm came to us in the parking ramp. Even a disaster may not be the end and there is always a future if we will hope in the one who can save us.
Recently Tuesdays Torch has expanded its reach by building our official website http://www.tuesdaystorch.com . With the addition of the Daily Spark and Scripture Pictures we are further spreading the message of Christ. We have accepted the opportunity for Tuesday’s Torch to be in Redeemed the Magazine for prisoners. The founder and author of Tuesdays Torch Tim Sader, has spoken in church and has several other speaking engagements lined up for the near future. We pray the words of this Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward Tuesdays Torch to encourage others with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that would like to partner with Tuesdays Torch please let us know. We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: email@example.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch on our website, by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
