This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt.
After writing down all of what God showed me about the Christian Healthcare Commission I had a dream about what its beginning might look like. I dreamt an assorted group of people were gathered at my house. The Lord gave me this dream so I would have the desire to see it happen. In the dream people were loudly discussing a passionate topic about the ministry and others were preparing a meal for us to share. The house was remolded to contain both ministry and living needs. Despite very diverse backgrounds we were motivated to do our part and we bonded because everyone had a purpose. In the dream my pastor and his wife were there waiting to speak somewhere nearby. I kept trying to tell him about our progress but didn’t want to interrupt his rest or preparations so I never got to tell him. The dream helped me see that I am in the right place and God can do what I can’t on my own. God wants to fulfill our desires if we will take the right steps to do it. We must first desire it, have a passion for it, those involved must have purpose and do it with diligence. Doing our part and trusting in God to do the rest is setting the stage for us to complete what we desired in the beginning. After that dream I had a few more dreams about others making a change and being devoted to the Lord. First I had a dream about two of my friends leading crowds of people to the Lord. He rebuilt their lives as they decided to put God first and use their talents to lead others to Him.
Friend number one was in the ruins of a church or similar style building in the desert. He was standing on a platform speaking to a crowd of rejects, misfits and renegades. Quite a few of the people had nooses around their neck with a short piece of rope hanging off of it. When he said certain things they would grab the rope and hold it above their head like they were symbolically hanging themselves. These people were in ruins; symbolic of the condition they were trying to come up out of. We can be rebuilt by the Lord. He can comfort us in the poorest of conditions and only He can turn our wastelands into paradise (Isaiah 51:3). We do this by laying down our own self and living for Him. The noose was a symbol of how we’ve been crucified with Christ and no longer live for ourselves but through faith in Him (Galatians 2:20-21). Friend number two was outside an old barn and there were bales of hay and rusty metal cars all around. There were people hanging out, sitting on the hay, leaning on the cars and talking in small groups. My friend and another guy who was like a brother to him were reunited to have a concert at this place. My friend had to get out of that area to get off drugs and left behind a lot to do it. I could tell in this dream that God had changed him even more and he was a true inspiration to all those people and soon they would want to change as well. It was like God restored all of what he left behind but this time he was the positive change everyone wanted to make (Joel 2:25). God rebuilt these two friends when they decided to make Him first in their lives. The Nations are fugitive to the ways of sin. They trust in things that cannot save and forget God who’s the only one that can. If we let God change us and make him first we can declare that change (Isaiah 45:20-21). They will see that God did it for us and they can be rebuilt in the same way by turning to Him.
Recently Tuesdays Torch has expanded its reach by building our official website http://www.tuesdaystorch.com . With the addition of the Daily Spark and Scripture Pictures we are further spreading the message of Christ. We have accepted the opportunity for Tuesday’s Torch to be in Redeemed the Magazine for prisoners. The founder and author of Tuesdays Torch Tim Sader, has spoken in church and has several other speaking engagements lined up for the near future. We pray the words of this Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward Tuesdays Torch to encourage others with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that would like to partner with Tuesdays Torch please let us know. We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: email@example.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch on our website, by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
