Psalm 107:9

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

The Christian Medical Community (CMEDCOM) is the final phase of the Christian Healthcare Commission (CHC). The other two phases are Beabled Ministry and Body Builders which work together to build up His body and lead us into good works. The CHC is just a part of what God wants to do to heal the hurting. It is our mission and as we come together more healing will be done. The sick are seeking to be made well and this healthcare system is set up so they can meet the healer and the one who can fix our crumbling healthcare system. Beabled Ministry builds the feeble ones up and Body Builders helps us find where we connect to the Body. These three ministries are interwoven and work together to achieve Kingdom influence in healthcare. I pray that this will awaken a desire in others to come on board with this or reach the hurting with the gift God has given them. Only Jesus can fix the hole in healthcare and He wants to use us to do it. The previous dreams and this plan the Lord downloaded to me has expanded me and sometimes left me feeling inadequate but that is often how He works. Sometime after finishing writing this plan I had a dream about what the beginnings of this might look like. In the dream my pastor, his wife and a diverse group of people who I know in different ways were gathered at my house working for a common purpose. The house was divided into living quarters in the back and office space where the master bedroom is at. I could tell it was setting the stage for something big and it was growing fast because we were out of room to contain it.

The CHC is something the Lord put in me and it has become my desire to see it come to pass. In the dream people in my dining room were having an enthusiastic conversation about the ministry they were passionate about. Being zealous for a worthy purpose is good thing it motivates us to get things done (Galatians 4:18). In the kitchen some ladies were preparing a meal for everyone to share. Everyone was so sincere about helping we even were breaking bread together. It was like God saw our diligence and we had His favor because the ministry was growing fast (Acts 2:46-47). Those involved had diverse backgrounds but it was like God assembled the perfect team because everyone was comfortable and worked well together (Mark 10:9). In the dream I was observing what everyone was doing while trying to find a way to tell my pastor about it. He was relaxing in the recliner watching an older movie about pilots in World War Two. It was like him and his wife were staying here before going to preach somewhere near us. Our house was happily chaotic during the day but was quiet and peaceful afterhours. I remember there was a piano in the living room and during their prayer time the pastor’s wife played it and sang a song. I never got to tell the Pastor more about what we were doing because it never felt right interrupting him. I don’t know how this all came together it was setting the stage for what I am supposed to do with the CHC. It showed me I am in the right place and only God can do what I can’t imagine doing on my own (Ephesians 3:20). Whatever it is we desire the Lord is setting the stage and he will help us do it (Psalm 20:4). The steps to starting anything are to first desire it, be passionate, have purpose and do it with diligence. If the stage is set wherever we are is the right place so if those involved will do their part despite their differences then God will do the rest.

Recently Tuesdays Torch has expanded its reach by building our official website http://www.tuesdaystorch.com . With the addition of the Daily Spark and Scripture Pictures we are further spreading the message of Christ. We have accepted the opportunity for Tuesday’s Torch to be in Redeemed the Magazine for prisoners. The founder and author of Tuesdays Torch Tim Sader, has spoken in church and has several other speaking engagements lined up for the near future. We pray the words of this Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward Tuesdays Torch to encourage others with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that would like to partner with Tuesdays Torch please let us know. We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: tuesdaystorch@gmail.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch on our website, by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!

No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
