1 Corinthians 11:19
No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God’s approval.
As the Christian Medical Community (CMEDCOM) grows from believers partnering with it together we will bring the Kingdom of God to the sick and the lost. In the church we should do healing better than the world and right now we don’t. These hospitals would be like some denominational hospitals but with a greater emphasis on our spirits. We would treat most things medically with the help of diet, health habits and natural remedies when available. Prayer would be one of the biggest spiritual changes in these facilities since we are to do it continually. Prayer for healing triggers our bodies to heal so the prayers of other believers make a big difference. Patients could be actively or inactively involved with prayer from healing teams and all CMEDCOM staff. A library of every kind of Christian media would be available to watch, read and listen to so patients could seek the Lord. Imagine going to a hospital with different areas for prayer, resurrections and adoptions because we would refuse to abort unwanted babies. We would have a last chance cancer free center and Beabled rehab for those seeking prolonged healing. Through prayer and top medical treatment the sick would be made well more often and the numbers would amaze the current system. As the sick and lost find out they will run to us learning that Jesus was the difference.
One of the biggest healthcare concerns today because of Obamacare is getting the right medical insurance. Jesus would be the difference in CMEDCOM at all levels especially our insurance program. Facilities would also accept other forms of coverage as well. Much like Medi-Share our insurance clients would be paying their share of the total yearly medical costs of all members (Acts 2:44-45). Also like some PPO’s, care in our clinics and hospitals would have almost no cost for members. Outside our network a certain percentage of coverage would be provided or reimbursed to members after paying the deductible. Another big difference would be coverage for preventative and naturopathic remedies. Medical professionals in our facilities will understand that they cannot be motivated by money (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead they will be motivated by the Lord and dedicated to bringing healing to all people. The cost for every kind of care in our facilities will be predetermined by our medical board to keep it fair and affordable. This should drive down medical costs across the board and cause insurance costs to decrease to accommodate us. As we make positive changes to share costs, pray for patients and have more healings; more men and women will come and our numbers will grow significantly (Acts 5:14). Differences among us are what show we have the approval of God and in all things Jesus makes the difference. As the costs of insurance and medical treatments drop, more can be done for those who cannot afford health coverage. Jesus is the fountain flowing from the throne and by Him the tree of life grows. The nations will find healing in His branches and in the leaves if we will show them where He grows (Revelations 22:2). The only way to improve health care is Jesus and he will make all the difference.
Recently Tuesdays Torch has expanded its reach by building our official website http://www.tuesdaystorch.com . With the addition of the Daily Spark and Scripture Pictures we are further spreading the message of Christ. We have accepted the opportunity for Tuesday’s Torch to be in Redeemed the Magazine for prisoners. The founder and author of Tuesdays Torch Tim Sader, has spoken in church and has several other speaking engagements lined up for the near future. We pray the words of this Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward Tuesdays Torch to encourage others with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that would like to partner with Tuesdays Torch please let us know. We pray the Lord will touch every reader. All of what Christ did was so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesday we talk a little more about what He did and what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was send His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer we pray they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch on our website, by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
