1 Timothy 4:15
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
Beabled Ministry we have learned is like a wing for refuge and flight. Every feather is important to take the church to a higher level. The feathers are different parts of this ministry that cater to different needs of the Beabled individual needing encouragement. Members meeting together and having a space to meet is a great starting place. The disabled seem weak and it is a despised thing to be unwell. To the world we seem foolish to trust God but these are the perfect opportunities for him to show up. They are chosen, so no one can be proud if they are not humbled first. We have truly humble beginnings and a foundation on the Rock of God. There is no other foundation to build on. Christ told the weary come and I will give you rest. In church if we are Christ-like we will offer the same. He did not ask them to be changed then come. No, He said come and let me carry the load so we can find rest. Each feather of ministry should have a special function. Becoming Beabled, special agents, the private room for worship, the SGP for children and support meetings are just a few feathers we already discussed. Other feathers could be hospital visits, homecare aides, addiction programs, mental health, wellness facilities and new job training. The many feathers of this ministry are to encourage the weary to come and put their trust in Christ and the Body we are supposed be. Beabled Ministry is a body strengthening ministry. By building up those who are weary we gain strength where it matters most and the body will grow into maturity. If together we will be diligent in doing our part to help others grow unity will come and we will grow up into Him. The objective of the Beabled is ultimately healing but we will also be diligent to strive until healing comes.
Though healing happens instantly in some cases often times it only comes after much striving and hard work. However it happens it is from God and He should be praised for giving us the strength to endure through our trial (1 Peter 4:11). Many in the church are suffering sickness, addiction, unemployment and other afflictions. This means the Body of Christ is in a state of illness and needs to Beabled. This is accomplished when every part starts to function properly. While healing our church body the members need to help strengthen one another. As certain broken parts begin to improve; just as in our physical bodies it helps the other parts improve and healing over takes the body (1 Corinthians 12:26). It cannot be stressed enough that the Lord wants us to be diligent in striving after Him for our healing. He wants this to happen so we can be the bride that He wants us to be. Christ left us His glory and the power of the Holy Spirit so we would be one with Him and the Father (John 17:22). Beabled ministry builds its members by us learning to trust in God to help us breakthrough our obstacles. We take refuge and rest under the shadow of His wings where we are safe until we get to where He wants us to be (Psalm 91:4). Everything Beabled Ministry does is to build the Body like never before. By strengthening our neighbors when they are weary we build them up. We are no greater than the one who is least (Romans 15:2). If we will be diligent to do these things we’ve discussed the world will start to see our progress and unity will soon be the answer to the prayers of our savior.
We will be expanding the reach of Tuesdays Torch to shine our light so others can see it and be saved. We pray the words of this Tuesdays Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward The Torch to others so we can encourage them with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that could benefit from the sharing Tuesdays Torch please let us know so together we can spread the light into dark places. We pray the Lord will continue touching every reader. All of what Christ did He did so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesdays Torch we talk a little more about what He did and talk about what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was sending us His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer our prayer is that they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16
