Tuesdays Torch week 234

Tuesday’s Torch

Psalm 127:3

Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.

The worries we once had we shouldn’t have anymore with God on our side. For that reason we never stop trusting in Him to be everything He said he would be. Everything may not always be perfect but the Beabled trust the promises of God are always true. We know that Christ has paid the cost to heal us so we need not fear for our health because He sustains us under His wings. Healing don’t always happen like we think it should sometimes there is a purpose in it not happening right away. The mysteries of God exceed our comprehension. He has a purpose in all things including our healing. Jesus walked by the man at the gate beautiful many times but his healing was needed later so people would have faith and be saved. The Beabled have no doubt in the healing power of God and we seek for it to come when it brings Him the glory. If we take care of everything we can do, stay active and pursue Him all we can do is live and trust in His greater plan. The Beabled never stop until the glory comes and leaves us forever. Parents, loved ones and caregivers are a big part of the team and in many ways share the disability. It is important to raise our children when they face a disability so they can live the Beabled lifestyle. Children and anyone we take care of are a reward from the Lord. We are more blessed by giving care to than the one who is receiving it. Our heritage is what we invest ourselves in and we choose the quality of it by how we managed it. This is true as a care giver; our child, loved one or patient is our investment and we should manage things so their quality of life will be better.

Follow the spirit in these words every situation is different so apply these principles accordingly. All children even those with disability need to be taught right from wrong and we must find ways to teach them or the disability will rule over everyone involved. We cannot pity our child to the point of ruining them (Proverbs 13:24). Discipline will help them along the way so they can learn to be the best they can be. We teach our kids and encourage them to honor our instruction so they can live a long life and make the right choices. We need to disciple them not to rule over them but to love them and train them to trust in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-4). Discipline is not meant to be harsh and isn’t always punishment it’s mostly proper instruction and being an example (1 John 3:18). If our children don’t have the proper instruction how would they ever make it on their own? Some disabilities may mean that won’t happen without a miracle. But if we give proper instruction they will get used to what’s right and it will help things run smoothly (Proverbs 22:6). Good discipline will give us peace and make them be our delight (Proverbs 29:17). We help our child Beabled by loving them and teaching them to love God. To do this we should pray together, cry or laugh with them and support their abilities being proud of what they can do. The hard decisions and the seeking God is for the parent. We should feel no lack of faith in seeking medical assistance or equipment to make their life better. Discipline not only keeps a child from death it gives them a good quality life and that fills our hearts with joy (Proverbs 19:18). As care givers we cannot spare good discipline or we will ruin who we care for. No matter how disabled our child is if we love them we will guide them to do the right thing (Proverbs 13:24). In many ways our choices make our children our reward.

We will be expanding the reach of Tuesdays Torch to shine our light so others can see it and be saved. We pray the words of this Tuesdays Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers. Please feel free to forward The Torch to others so we can encourage them with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that could benefit from the sharing Tuesdays Torch please let us know so together we can spread the light into dark places. We pray the Lord will continue touching every reader. All of what Christ did He did so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesdays Torch we talk a little more about what He did and talk about what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was sending us His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer our prayer is that they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: tuesdaystorch@gmail.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!

Tuesday’s Torch

By: Tim Sader

Psalm 91:4

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

The Beabled know that they can dream big without having to worry about our setbacks because God is our help. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in what disables us that it begins to define our lives. But we should have no worry if we trust in the Lord we can conquer all of lives worries. The once disabled worry about the what ifs. Often times we miss out for access reasons and we talk ourselves out of enjoying anything new. The Lord knows what we need so the Beabled should worry about nothing. Even future worries will be taken care of when they get here. We must not let worry shrink our world so we get depressed and give up thinking we have no purpose. We should not live as the world might think if they were in our shoes. God has given us a new mind to think of things according to His righteousness. If we are smart and follow the Lord all those maybes won’t seem so hard to deal with. The what ifs are easy for the God who can do the impossible. Through modification and strong desire we can do so much more than what we give ourselves credit for. Christ paid off that credit and He makes all things possible to those who love Him. The Beabled never stop we do not just settle into a safe routine. We know the Lord has our back so we can live like we are already healed. He has it all covered if we seek refuge under the shadow of His wings we will see that he is faithful to keep all of His promises. We do not live in an illusion that everything is always perfect but by faith we trust in the promises of God for our health and healing.

The Beabled know what Christ did on the cross setting us free from sin and healing our bodies (1 Peter 2:24). Under the shadow of His wings there is protection for all seek Him. We do not need to fear over our health problems because by faith we know the Lord sustains us. Healing for whatever reason does not always look like we think it should. There can be timing or a purpose God has for our healing. How can we know the mysteries of God or how deep His thoughts maybe? He has the whole Earth and the Heavens to run so there are many things He must consider that we know nothing about (Job 11:7-9). Humans cannot begin to comprehend the mind of God and why He needs to do things a certain way to get the glory. The lame man at the gate beautiful sat there every day for years (Acts 3:2). Jesus walked by him probably thousands of times in his life but he never was healed in Jesus’s personal ministry. But when Peter and John walked by his time had finally come. His healing could not happen until the right time so thousands of people would accept Jesus as their savior. There should be no doubt that healing is the will of God and it will happen at the right time so He gets the glory for it. After we have prayed, pursued God, stood on scripture, had hands laid on, been anointed with oil, yelled at the devil, learned more scripture and been prayed for numerous times all we can do is trust Him and live our lives. We are not building our case against Him so we should never stop chasing after the very best He has for us. He is not a liar everything He promised He will do (Numbers 23:19). It is important for us to never stop doing what we can to reach optimum health but also we need to live our life like we would until the glory comes and we rise above what keeps us down.

Tuesday’s Torch

06/11/13

By: Tim Sader

 Romans 8:37

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

By faith the Beabled choose a life style where they dare to dream and pursue them in spite of our circumstances. We must dream big and set goals to follow so that with the Lords help it will come true. The good things we desire to do He put there and with Him we cannot fail. Sometimes a bad report gets us down but we should never give up on our dreams. We should chase after them until we reach the other side. Just because our circumstance has kept us from success before it does not make those dreams disappear. Dreaming gives us hope in the future we want to see; it is a little ray of light in our situation. Dreaming is good but not so much if we don’t chase after them. In pursuit of our dreams we find purpose and suddenly we have something to live for. What good things we desire He desires and He can take us to places with our dreams we never thought possible. There are no limits to what God can do and His power is at work in those of us who trust in Him. The Beabled will actively pursue our dreams by taking the time to set goals to get started on our way to fulfillment. We will write out our short, mid and long term goals in working our way to our dream. The best time to start is now and all the soon our plans will succeed. The Beabled serve a Big God so we have big dreams for Him to help turn into a reality. Sometimes the disabled get so wrapped up in our restrictions that it completely determines every aspect of who we are. In Christ we can no longer let disability define our lives. The Beabled have no time to worry about what might happen because we trust in God to be our help. Through Christ we are more than conquerors and He will make us overcome all things.

In our lives there are often many what ifs for us to think about and for those of us with disabilities that can be magnified. What if there’s no parking? What if the place is too small? What if people stare? Often times we talk ourselves out of doing anything that doesn’t fit perfect in the disabled world we created. We should not worry about the what ifs like the world who has no hope in the Lord. God knows what we need so if we trust in Him to take care of us; He will work it out. What we do in the future should not worry us; it will take care of itself when it gets here (Matthew 6:31-34). If we let worries stop us our world starts to shrink and before we know it depression keeps us from wanting to do anything. The Beabled will not live in the ways of the world by thinking on what we do not know. We must put to rest our old life and have a new mind that is being renewed by the righteousness of God (Ephesians 4:17, 22-24). If we will just be smart and listen to the Lord the what ifs will not seem like much of a problem. In general the world has become more aware of disabilities and everyone has phones so any questions we have can be answered. Through Christ we are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The disabled worry but the Beabled have no worries. Even what we thought impossible is possible with God. Sure right now there might be things we can’t do. Something’s can be modified for us to do now and the rest we must never give up on. Through Christ we have been made righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21). By engaging in life we are not defined by our disabilities we are the Beabled. We have been crucified with Christ the life we once lived is no more (Galatians 2:20). Now by faith we live on His terms and by Him we conquer all our worries.
