 Isaiah 55:9

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

At Lakeland in the spring of 2008 they prayed when I was there that everyone would receive revelation into what they could do to help bring revival. After coming home I had a dream about a doctor I hadn’t met and Kenneth Copeland working together to make me well. Later to my surprise I met that doctor so him and Brother Copeland have a bond in my spirit of the combining medical and supernatural healing to make people well. Sick people need doctors and we all need Jesus to save us at the point where man fails us. Doctors sometimes cause us more pain than good and only Jesus can set us free where the medical community fails. A doctor’s ability to heal is close to the heart of God. If they would rely more on Him he would help them where they fail at knowing what to do. Jesus is our tree of life anything we need He can do for us. He gives us life and saves us from ourselves. In 2008 a lot was changing in our world. There were epidemics, natural disasters, financial collapse and changing leadership in America. There was no easy solution for the financial state of our economy and the plan of action cost more than we can ever payback. On top of borrowing trillions of dollars the new leadership decided America needs a new health care bill. The proposed bill was so long and such a secret law makers had no time to fully understand it. In the bill are hidden many ways for the highest authorities in our land to walk all over our constitutional rights. In the middle of that mess God showed me a simple plan for healthcare starting with the members of our churches.

What the Lord showed me is not a legal health care bill like the one submitted by president Obama. Simply it is a way for the church to do healthcare since our way should be different than the way of the world. The pattern of the world is not always the exact pattern of God we try to add our own agenda to things and get in His way. If we will let Him guide our thoughts He will start to show us the perfect pattern for doing things His way (Romans 12:2). We are in this world but wherever this world steps outside of what His will is we should do our part to be a light He can use to show His higher ways. We are not of this world our minds have been renewed so we can know His will and put it into action (John 17:16). The Spirit of God has been poured out on us because of Jesus doing His part to save us. He did this so we would inherit eternal life by choosing to follow Him as our savior. That grace given us is so we could be renewed by washing away of our sins. His plan of redemption is the higher ways of God He redeemed us so we could be more like Him. He made it so we could hear from heaven and His thoughts be revealed to us so we can do His will (Titus 3:4-7). It is Jesus that renews all things and if we are faithful to follow the path He has laid out before us we will have great honor for all of eternity. None of us have it all figured out or we would not need each other. He has not given me all the answers to make Christian Healthcare happen but He has showed me there is a better way for the church since we are called to heal. However it all happens I know Jesus is the way and if we follow Him we will get it right.

We will be expanding the reach of Tuesdays Torch to shine our light so others can see it and be saved.  We pray the words of this Tuesdays Torch and every Torch will sink into the hearts and minds of readers.  Please feel free to forward The Torch to others so we can encourage them with its message. If there are any churches or ministries that could benefit from the sharing Tuesdays Torch please let us know so together we can spread the light into dark places. We pray the Lord will continue touching every reader. All of what Christ did He did so we would believe. He told us not to believe because of what He said but in what He did (John 14:11). Every Tuesdays Torch we talk a little more about what He did and talk about what He is still doing. The best thing God has ever done was sending us His Son so we could be saved (John 3:16). If anyone is not a believer our prayer is that they will meet the Lord. If anyone wants to make Jesus Christ their Savior send a message to: tuesdaystorch@gmail.com and we will help it happen. Look out for next Tuesdays Torch by email or find it on Facebook by searching Tuesdays Torch. Thanks and God Bless!

 Matthew 9:12

On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”

In 2007 after leaving the hospital I totally turned my life over to the Lord. I wanted to feel His anointing in my life. After getting into the word and finding a church that seemed right I finally found the taste I was looking for. However a taste was not enough so some friends and I took a faith journey to the Lakeland Revival in 2008. We wanted to be saturated in the heavy weighty glory of God because the anointing makes all the difference. If we know Jesus the anointing goes with us because we know His word is truth. Truth is how we know the anointing is real because if it is contrary to the word of God it is another anointing not of God. Part of healing is receiving the prayers and anointing from the elders of the church to heal and save the sick. The anointing at Lakeland was unforgettable it was such an outpouring of Gods great love for us. The prayer the last night we were there was for revival to spread into our cities and for us to receive revelation of how God wants to use us to do it. After coming home I was seeking the Lord for my part in this revival. I started dreaming again and once again I had a dream that had to do with health care. This dream I had was me at a clinic I go to on a regular basis for Muscular Dystrophy. When I went to the examination room there was an older doctor with a bow tie and Kenneth Copeland waiting for me to perform their duties. The two of them were working together on my behalf to bring healing to me. It was some kind of trial program teaming faith with medicine to help people get well and they were learning from each other.

Later in 2008 I got a letter telling me it was time for my semi-annual checkup. I thought very little about that dream after I had it up until we went to the clinic and they told us we would be seeing a new doctor. Before he came in I told my mom what if it’s the doctor from my dream. Anyways when he walked in I almost fainted because the doctor from my dream is still the doctor at that clinic. He don’t know Kenneth yet but the two of them are forever linked in the spirit as symbols of the combining of natural and super-natural healing. This merger for many seems irrational at both ends of the spectrum but the bringing together of the two is bringing Jesus to the place where man fails and allowing Him to finish what He already finished. Jesus said the sick need a doctor but what about the doctor that cannot heal the one who is sick. The sick need a doctor and sinners need Jesus in the same way (Mark 2:16-17). Where doctors fail Jesus is there to heal and save us from sin and its effects in our lives. When the woman with the issue of blood finally came to Jesus it was after she had seen many doctors. Actually it says she suffered under their care but where they caused her pain Jesus was able to heal and set her free from her burden (Mark 5:25-29). There is a need in this world for doctors if there was not they wouldn’t be in the bible. One of Jesus’ disciples, Luke was a doctor so their ability to heal is close to the heart of God (Colossians 4:14). If doctors follow Jesus they not only have the ability but the power to heal through Christ. From the river of God flows life to grow everything we need for our enrichment (Ezekiel 47:12). Jesus is the Tree of Life if we follow His word we will have our fill of meat and through faith in Him  we are already healed. Jesus wants to be the doctor to those who need a touch from Him. He is the giver of life and He will sustain us!

Tuesday’s Torch

1 John 2:20

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

With thoughts on the care I received and all I had learned about healing swimming around in my head I was uncertain what to think. Without a doubt I knew the Lord is our healer. He did all He could to save us, heal us and set us free. Most healing however does not happen in churches. People go to hospitals hoping they can help but there’s only so much man can do. What we cannot do God can so He is the missing link. One purpose we have as believers is to heal the sick so we need to be actively involved in their lives. After leaving the hospital in December 2007 it felt great to be as good as they could make me. Somewhere along the way I recommitted my life to God and I was ready to live it out. Recovery was rough for about a month. During that time I got into watching a lot of Christian programs and preaching. I fell in love with the Word again and read the bible in a year. I cleaned a lot of filth out of my life, stumbling some but not falling down. The desire I had was to get back to church. After watching MorningStar I seen they met in Fort Mill, SC at what used to be Heritage USA. One day my mom came to me and said “let’s pick a church to start going to.” I told her about MorningStar and since it was close enough we tried it in March of 2008. We had been out of Church six years so we didn’t know what to think but we liked the anointing. Around the time we decided to go to MorningStar I had been watching the Lakeland, FL Revival. Being in the anointing of God becomes addicting and you want to follow it wherever it is. My brother, me and my friends set out on our faith adventure. They had to care for us both since we both used wheelchairs.

Leaving the comforts of home took us all a lot of faith but we knew the Lord wanted us to experience the great anointing in that place. When seeking the Lord for anything sometimes the anointing is what makes the difference. Going to church or some big revival is not the only place to find His anointing. God is anywhere we need Him to be so seeking Him brings us under His anointing. By accepting Jesus Christ the Son of God into our lives we have been anointed of God to know the truth (1 John 2:20). This truth is how later we know when we are under His anointing. If the truths do not line up with the truth we find in God’s Word it is of an anointing contrary to what we believe and we want no part of it. The anointing we know will always glorify God and show Jesus’ love for us. Knowing the anointing is not learned, it is felt by the believer in our Spirit. The anointing teaches us what the real anointing is and how to spot a counterfeit. By keeping close to the Anointed One we keep the anointing close at hand (1 John 2:27). By living His righteousness and forsaking wickedness we have been made different. We will be filled with an anointing of joy others cannot understand (Hebrews 1:9). Part of healing the sick is covering them with the anointing. The elders of the church are called to pray for the sick and anoint them with oil. The prayer of faith given with the anointing is the perfect prescription. It will make the sick well and forgive them of sin (James 5:14-15). The Lakeland Revival ended in a bit of a mess but it had good fruit. People were saved, healed and restored. Being there let me know it was all about Jesus so the anointing was true and my life was blessed to experience the Lord in such a place.

Tuesday’s Torch

01/08/13

By: Tim Sader

 Luke 4:40

At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

After seeing how big God is in a dream I had while in the hospital struggling to breath I learned to put my trust in Him. The problem I had was with too much oxygen because I could not properly exhale my carbon dioxide. Even too much of a good thing can be bad in excess. The only thing we can’t have too much of is God as long as He’s in control. God is big and if we’re in His grasp He will watch over us all the days of our life. God holds us up with the power of His righteous right hand. This power is given Jesus and he will be our help in troubled times. While lying in that hospital bed faced with so much uncertainty I had a lot of time to think. I thought a lot about my life and the choices I had made so far. I got to thinking about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life if I’d get to live it. One night I felt something break off of me. I do not know if that was the moment my blood gasses regulated or the moment of crisis passing when my body decided to fight. At that moment something inside of me changed. I refused to be sick and broken. I was totally unhappy with the care I received in the progressive care unit. They were not devoting the level of care someone with my condition needed to get well. In that moment I saw health care really had some problems that needed to be fixed. After a night of no one checking on me I took charge. I demanded to be moved to intensive care until they knew I was well enough to go home than my situation improved.

During the rest of my time there a plan began to form inside of me. At first I wanted to control things and came up with an elaborate service organization to aid disabled people while in the hospital. How many of us realize God sees things on a grander scale? His ultimate plan for healing is Jesus’ bloodshed to heal our ailments and to cure sickness and disease (Isaiah 53:5). This job of healing the sick Christ put on those who believe in Him. The Church is called to bring healing to all people because in doing so they experience the love of God (Mark 16:17-18). Currently more than ninety percent of healing is done outside of the church in hospitals that deny the existence of God. We need to understand that creation cannot be separated from the Creator. Whenever man tries this he is brought to ruin. Part of the reason Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed is because they tried to change what we were naturally created to do (Genesis 19). The natural order is creation doing what the Creator made us to do. We were created to cultivate the land, be fruitful, serve God and have dominion in the earth. The church should be more involved in health care because it is part of our dominion as believers. He told us to lay our hands on the sick and they shall recover. We have the power of Jesus inside us to heal them. God gave man knowledge also to heal through the cultivation of earth and the understanding of our bodies. When we lay our hands on the sick we need to do all we can to make them well. Jesus a couple times did do a bit more than just touch the people. One time He made mud with spit and put it in the blind man’s eyes so he could see (John 9:6-7). He had to get His hands actively involved in this healing him. Healing must be done for the church to be the church. We have a hole in health care that can only be filled by Jesus. We are His hands so we should bring healing to the world!

Tuesdays Torch week 209

Tuesday’s Torch

01/01/13

By: Tim Sader

 Job 33:4

The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Last week we learned that nothing under the Son is new because all things created are new in Him. God sees time happen all at once so nothing man creates is new since He seen it already. Christ gave us a new way to reach God and He is making us new by the sacrifice of His blood. As we enter 2013 let us remember Jesus is the new thing. If we focus on Him this year He will take us to a new level in our faith. This year the Lord is leading me to reveal the things the Lord has shown me personally since I recommitted my life to Him before starting Tuesdays Torch. Everything written here is revelation from the Lord but as we draw near to Him He begins showing us things concerning who we are called to be. We find His will for our lives when we press in and are obedient to do what He calls us to do. I was called to write Tuesdays Torch and through the obedience of writing it I have learned more about His will for my life. This Year will be a year of dreams and revelations revealed to my spirit about helping build the Body by building up its members so we can better work together. These experiences started in 2007 while lying in a hospital bed sicker then I had ever been in my life. My family did not understand why it happened so abruptly without much warning. I do have Muscular Dystrophy and with it comes respiratory complications but until then they never bothered me. During this month being in and out of the hospital I was reunited with my best friend Jesus and only through Him was I strong enough to pull through.

After doing a number of blood tests doctors found out I was retaining too much carbon dioxide. I was unable to exhale enough of my CO2. I was being poisoned by oxygen in the hospital where they kept me hooked up to it. Too much of what is considered a good thing ended up being a bad thing. We should do nothing in excess because the excess is what will bring us harm in doing it. Being overly righteous, wise or wicked can bring us to destruction (Ecclesiastes 7:16-17). We must not do things in excess it will corrupt us. Instead we must accept the message that will save our souls and truly we can’t get too much of Him if we let Him have control (James 1:21). During this time of too much oxygen my mind was seriously messed up. I was delusional, my vision was blurred and people looked like giants. I was conscience enough to be in touch with reality but I was scared. One night I had a dream of being in a fancy auditorium of some sort. The building was renaissance-ish and much of the expanse was golden. Suddenly it opened up and flooded with light. I saw a giant hand coming down out of heaven. Inside the hand descended on me as if I were a tiny flea. One finger seemed larger than a tall building but I was not afraid. Actually this hand was to protect me and I felt safe. This hand was the mighty hand of God and by its covering I was safe. There were some hard days after that but I focused on the hand of God and I would be ok. David says he knows the Lord gives victory to the anointed. In his sanctuary we are victorious by the power of His right hand (Psalm 20:6). We have nothing to fear if we have given our lives to Him. The power given Jesus is the power of His right hand and He will be our help in trouble (Isaiah 41:10). The Lord is stronger than all our problems. He created the mountains and the wind and through the Almighty we have our breath (Amos 4:13).
